Wine Circle

Stamperland Wine Circle welcomes new members who have an interest in understanding more about wine and the enjoyment associated with it.

Club members enjoy tastings, displays by leading distributors and the matching of different wines to certain kinds of food. There will be demonstrations on how to make wine and an opportunity to chat about to making your own very drinkable varieties. Magic of Showbiz

A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol will warm even the coldest of hearts and leave all rejoicing in the Christmas spirit this winter. At The Tramway until January 6.

Santa at Silverburn

As the big day draws ever nearer, Silverburn will be bringing some Christmas magic to Glasgow with its very own Santa experience. Bright, colourful and full of presents, Father Christmas and his elves will be located beside TGI Friday’s up until Christmas Eve.

Festive films

Come along to Eastwood Park Theatre or Clarkston Hall for special screenings of some classic festive family films. Today: Arthur Christmas at 2pm.

Men of Motown

Enjoy a four course meal with a glass of fizz followed by some top class entertainment from the Men of Motown at the Columba Club Barrhead’s Christmas Party Night. From 7pm.

Festive Snow Ball

Sean Batty is kicking off The Shed Glasgow’s Christmas celebrations this year with a Festive Snow Ball where you can meet and greet the man himself and even bag a prize by catching his snowy balls. From 10.30pm - 3am.

Winter Wee Retreat

Join The Wee Retreat at Cathcart Baptist Church for a cosy, seasonal evening of mindfulness meditation, mince pies & mulled wine from 7pm - 9.30pm.

Elf Academy

Back for its third year ERCL’s Elf Academy returns! Just drop your kids off and let them enjoy a series of creative and fun activities in this jam-packed session. Make a Christmas craft, bake, join in with a wintery tale and enjoy a festive film before graduating from Elf Academy with your very own Elf ears! At Eastwood Park Theatre ; 9am - 12pm or 1pm - 4pm.

Wee Retreat opening

Pollok Parkrun is a weekly, free 5km timed run held on Saturday mornings at 9.30am at Pollok Country Park. Each week we enjoy a post-parkrun coffee in the Servants’ Hall at Pollok House which is just a short distance from the finish.
