New Swing Song club opens in the Southside
A new club has been launched for local people who like the Big Band sound with songs from Sinatra, Dean Martin and Bobby Darin to name a few.
Every Monday afternoon from 3-6pm in Beechings bar, Cathcart, music lovers attend from all over Glasgow to here Scott D, Swing Song Singer. The afternoon has been very successful and is aimed at people in the community who may be in isolation or lonely to get out and come along to socialize with other and sing along to the Swing Song music.
