Williamwood golfer’s hole-in-one on first day after lockdown

You’d think after several weeks away from the course, golfers’ games would be a wee bit rusty – but that wasn’t the case for one player at Williamwood Golf Club.

In his first round following lockdown, Gary Hall hit a hole-in-one at the 155-yard par 3 11th hole at the Clarkston course.

While the club doesn’t normally report holes in one, Gary’s playing partner Charlie Baillie thought this one was worthy of mention.

So congratulations to Gary, and we hope all golfers are enjoying the opportunity to return to courses following the easing of lockdown restrictions.
