Forth manager still wants summer football
This call-off came just two days after Forth’s scheduled home friendly against Bellshill was put off for the same reason.
Such events at what is supposed to be the height of the Scottish summer might have some football fans scratching their heads and wondering if the old argument about bringing in summer soccer would actually be a good idea after all.

Hide AdDespite the call-offs, Forth manager Jamie McKenzie said that he would still be in favour of introducing summer football due to the possibility of generating more revenue.
