IT’S a busy time for Lok boss John Richardson as he scrambles to rebuild the Newlandsfield side.

Fresh off a relegation dog fight, the southside fans are hoping for a brighter season ahead.

Scott Morrison — who won the player of the year award two years in a row — has decided to take a break from football and will not appear for Pollok next year.

Competing for his vacated spot between the sticks will be Graham Black, who joined last season from St. Anthony’s, and Steven McNeil, who has joined from Petershill.

Another pair of confirmed returnees for next season are defenders Jonathan Carter and Graeme McLaren, while Kevin McBride has joined Pollok as part of a deal that has taken Kevin Bradley to Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.

Pollok have retained the services of veteran Paul McQuilken for the coming season.

He will be joined in midfield by Ross Hepburn, who has signed from Rossvale. Ross played for Pollok in the very last game of the season away to Renfrew.

The final addition in the middle of the park is Steven Miller, who has joined Pollok from Kilbirnie as part of a swap deal for the retained Shaun Dillon.
