SCOTLAND’S most successful women’s team have unveiled their new strip as they prepare to get their Champions League campaign underway.
Glasgow City, who beat their nearest rivals Hibs 4-0 at the weekend, sported the kit before heading to the Netherlands to play Croatian champs WFC Osijek, FCTwente and Maltese outfit Birkikara in the group stage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The unusual venue for the launch of the new kit was Fairlie Marina where the squad met sponsor Paritime Craft Services (Clyde) Ltd.
Laura Montgomery, the club’s manager, said: “It is fantastic to have the support of MCS, who have backed from the very beginning and have seen us grow from one stand-alone team into one of Europe’s top sides and a club with teams from under 9 right up to out elite first team.
“It is our pleasure to have the name of their company on our sleeve and the are true advocates for women’s sport and get behind us in everything we do.
“This is the most exciting time of year for us as we hope to embark on another memorable European journey.”
