Celtic ranking on UEFA merchandise list alongside Man Utd revealed as top 20 revenue spot clinched

Celtic are in the top 20 European clubs when it comes to big numbers on merchandising.

They have a global appeal - and there's no doubting that Celtic are one of Europe's most well-known clubs.

All around the world, the Premiership champions have fans in their droves. Across the continent they have admirers thanks partly to famous Champions League nights under the lights.

Then there's a new-found Asian market. Celtic have recruited heavily in Japan and South Korea which has brought more attention to Brendan Rodgers' side.

When it comes to the rest of the continent, Celtic are a match for most. Inside  a gargantuan document of 118 pages, UEFA have published their report into European club finances, based on the 22/23 season.

It's the Parkhead side who come out strong when it comes to kit and merch revenue, alongside big names like Barcelona and Manchester United. All top division clubs generated merch revenues of a staggering £1.2b, with results combining the kit manufacturer sponsorship revenues with total merchandising revenues.

Each figure is rounded to the nearest million by UEFA. Glasgow World runs through where Celtic sit in these results...
