And with the cream of the crop now selected, it gets down to the serious business as the live shows kick-off on Monday, May 28.

But which acts are tipped to do well this year?

This is who the bookies are backing to take the coveted spot on the Royal Variety performance bill:

Marc Spellman - 3/1

After a tear-jerking audition, the magician sprung to the top of the bookies tip list and has remained there ever since.

His unique style of magic saw Spellman leap straight into the hearts of viewers.

And he caught the eye of Ant & Dec too, who handed him their golden buzzer in the first week of auditions.

Spellman's odds are as short as 3/1 at some bookmakers and he's sure to be an audience favourite in the live shows.

Jack and Tim - 4/1

Impressing Simon Cowell is far from easy.

So surely the fact that Jack and Tim secured his golden buzzer speaks volumes about their talent.

The father and son singing duo moved the audience to tears during their audition - making a lasting impression on viewers.

With odds at 4/1 at most bookmakers, Jack and Tim could well be a hot tip.

Lost Voice Guy - 5/1

In a year which has seen plenty of comedians audition, it's the Lost Voice Guy who stands out.

The Geordie comedian's comical look at political correctness saw him shoot to fame after his audition.

And he continues to be popular, having been backed to 5/1 at some bookmakers.

Gruffydd Wyn - 6/1

The Welsh opera singer picked up the final golden buzzer of the auditions from Amanda Holden - and it's easy to see why.

Despite being given a second chance by the judges after a false start,  Wyn went on to impress.

The singer grasped his second chance and delivered a moving performance which earned him a standing ovation.

Wyn's odds are short too, and he can be backed to win at as little as 6/1.

The D-Day Darlings - 8/1

Everyone loves a bit of nostalgia, and the D-Day Darlings certainly deliver plenty of that.

Their pitch-perfect and well-executed rendition of 'We'll Meet Again' proved a big hit in the audition.

And this modern twist on some popular classics of the past has proved popular, with the act being backed at 8/1.

The Outsiders

It's one of the most difficult series to call in recent years, which is reflected in the odds.

And there's plenty of outsiders who could still surge up the betting.

Dancers Rise (10/1), singer Ronan Busfield (11/1) and illusionist Magus Utopia (12/1) could all be worth a punt.
