ERGoodCauses has been selected by Williamwood Golf Club as its charity partner for the new season.
The ladies section will be running many different fundraising events throughout 2017, and all the money raised will be going to ERGoodCauses, where 100 per cent of this money will be used directly on “goods and services” for peole living in our own East Renfrewshire area.
Lorraine Morris, ladies vice captain, said: “Williamwood Golf club has a long standing tradition of raising lots of money for charities and local groups, and we are delighted to choose East Renfrewshire Good Causes as our charity partner for this year. Our golf club plays a vital role in serving our own community by being much more than a place to play golf, as it has a very vibrant social side with many different events throughout the year, so we really are a community hub for our local area.
“As a recently retired police officer, I see the value of the incredible work that ERGoodCauses carries out for all our East Renfrewshire neighbours in need of a helping hand, and I along with all the other ladies are delighted to be doing our bit.”
Russell Macmillan, founder of ERGoodCauses, said: “To have the support of this great club is an incredible honour.
“I would like to thank the ladies for supporting the work we carry out in East Renfrewshire.”
