Vet Hospital awards glory for Pollokshaws practice

The Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital in Pollokshaws has won two prestigious awards from the British Veterinary Hospital Association (BVHA.

The Practice Design Awards cover both new build premises, refurbishment, and conversion of buildings previously used for other purposes.

Meanwhile the BVHA President’s Award is presented for an outstanding innovation in the design of a specific area or feature of the practice.

Roundhouse partner Oliver Jackson said: “We are thrilled to have received one of just six awards presented at this fiercely-fought competition.

“We are also delighted to have maintained the Scottish presence, being the only awarded practice north of the border and following in the footsteps of our colleagues at Martin Vets in Kirkintilloch, who were awarded in 2015.”

The practice at 43-47 Cogan Road, Auldhouse Retail Park, has been designed to deliver pet care services ranging from vaccinations to complex surgical veterinary procedures.

The hospital aimed to provide “the best possible clinical care, stress-free patient environment and client experience”.
