Valerie Watt scales Arthur’s Seat in a wheelchair
IT’S not every day of the week that a person in a wheelchair bravely scales Edinburgh’s highest peak, Arthur’s Seat, to raise money for charity.
But that’s exactly what Lanark woman Valerie Watt – paralysed below the waist since a 1998 car crash – achieved as part of a 13-mile half marathon which took four hours to complete.
