Lightning and hail is also expected in some areas.

There is the possibility of flooding of homes and businesses, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.

Drivers are being urged to take care on the roads, and there is also the possibility of delays and cancellations on public transport.
