A Silverburn employee has clocked up over 100 miles of walking in aid of a children’s charity.

Craig Francis, environmental manager at the Pollok shopping centre, tackled the West Highland Way in aid of Aberlour Children’s Trust - one of the chosen Silverburn Cares charities.

Craig tackled the 96 mile trek with a friend, before taking on Ben Lomond too.

The paid raised £1,787 from friends, family and colleagues, which will fund the Trust’s work with vulnerable children, young people and their families.

Aberlour fundraising executive Sarah Nicholson congratulated the walkers, adding: “Their support will make a different to Scotland’s children and young people, and we’re really grateful for their efforts.”
