Scouts dig deep for Williamwood House

Youngsters from the 91st Netherelee Beaver Scouts went potty at Williamwood House Care Home recently in aid of Scout Community Week.

The boys and girls of the group rolled up their sleeves to plant a rainbow of brightly coloured flowers (in brightly coloured plant pots), all donated by community week sponsor B&Q.

Their efforts were used to brighten up the care home inside and out, and Dorothy Hamilton, group scout leader, said: “It’s been great to make an impact in our area, and to carry out an activity that is so meaningful to the care home and its residents.”
