Self-confessed comfort eater Christine Oattes, (48), weighed more than 13 stone before a “scary” holiday photo spurred her to join Weight Watchers.
Christine, a computer support technician from Thornliebank, saw her weight rocket to 13stone 7.5 Ibs after she turned to comfort food after the breakdown of a relationship.
The trigger moment for Christine came when she saw a holiday snap taken in Majorca in 2010, because while she hadn’t noticed the weight going on she knew that the camera didn’t lie.
She joined Weight Watchers in April 2011, because she had been a member before and knew that it had worked.
She liked to eat out and socialise, and as nothing was off limits with Weight Watchers she could still enjoy a social life and stay within her Smartpoints.
Her top tips for weight loss success are to always go to your Weight Watchers meeting– even after reaching your goal – always use the special App or a journal to plan, track and shop for your food, and never give up. When she returned from a fortnight in Florida 4Ibs lighter she knew her effort had paid off.
