PROFESSOR Green has been in the news lately, for more than just his music.
The rapper recently tied the knot with reality TV sensation Millie Mackintosh of Made in Chelsea, but now he hopes to move out of the tabloids and into the review pages.
Firmly established as one of the crossover superstars of British music who has always remained true to his roots in rap.
He has built a career which has spawned two top three albums and eight consecutive Top 40 singles – including the massive hits Read All About It’, I Need You Tonight and Just Be Good To Green.
His third album, Growing up in public was released last month, adding another incredible chapter to Pro’s all-conquering career which has already accumulated 500,000 album and 1.75 million single sales in the UK alone.
Few artists achieve the rare distinction of achieving huge commercial success while maintaining their credibility. Yet Green has managed precisely that.
His collaborations with artists such as Emeli Sandé, Lily Allen, The Streets, and Wretch 32 demonstrate the respect that his contemporaries hold him in.
He has also been nominated for awards including the Brits ‘Best Male’ plus earned Best Dancefloor Filler at the NME Awards as well as a MOBO Award for Best Hip-Hop/Grime Act.
