Police have launched an investigation after the death of two brothers in Newton Mearns.

The body of John Mitchell, 29, was discovered in Castle Road at about 3.15pm on Sunday, August 5.

A short time later his brother Scott, 28, was found in a property in nearby Moorhill Crescent.
