On relaxing sun, sea and sand type holidays abroad I always like to include a boat trip. This year whilst in Madeira I enjoyed just such a trip.
Before setting off, I was promised what I thought was the dubious prospect of seeing dolphins, whales and turtles so I was pleasantly surprised to see all three.
As the sea was gin clear I was able to take this picture through a wave of one of the Atlantic Spotted Dolphins that we saw. I used my Nikon D7000 fitted with an 18-105mm zoom lens.
The camera shutter was set to continuous 6 frames per second, on ISO 400 and aperture priority of f/11, the resulting shutter speed was 1/400 of a second.
