My wife and I spent a delightful autumn break in Grange over Sands overlooking Morecambe Bay, Cumbria.
We walked into the town from our apartment through a thick wood and I spotted these wild mushrooms growing out of the forest floor.
I was not carrying my DSLR but had a compact camera with a tilting rear screen. I placed the camera close to the ground in order to look up at the mushrooms so that they were prominent and standing tall in front of me.
I wanted a shallow depth of field and my Sony RX100 camera was set at a 30th of a second at f2.8 with an ISO of 160.
