MSP praises eggscellent Easter efforts of Twechar community
The Easter Bunny, with the help of residents and staff from the community centre, managed to safely deliver over 300 Easter eggs and cakes to the children of Twechar. The Easter eggs and cakes were all donated by local groups and individuals.
Ms Mackay said: “Jacinda Arden, Prime Minister of New Zealand rightly said the Easter Bunny is a key worker, so it was wonderful to be able to see them and their helpers on their yearly round in the Twechar Appreciation Society group on Facebook.

“Despite challenges and setbacks, communities like Twechar are devising ever more creative ways to connect, and in this case brought great joy to the village’s children.”
