The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns is inviting families to their FREE visits to Santa every Sunday from November 24 until Christmas from 12noon – 4pm.

Plus The Avenue is partnering with the Salvation Army, Barrhead for their Give a Gift to Santa Appeal this year.

Michelle McCabe, Centre Manager at The Avenue said: “The Salvation Army, Barrhead needs your help to make Christmas special for children and families in our local area who have little or nothing under the tree on Christmas morning. They are particularly seeking donations of new, clean towels (shower sized), spray deodorant and shower gel as they are joining with Glasgow City Mission.”

“All new, unwrapped gifts and toys are welcome and can be given to Santa on Sundays between 12 noon and 4pm. Shoppers can also donate gifts any other day of the week as The Market Place within The Avenue will have a drop off point in store for any gift donations during their opening hours Monday – Saturday.

Please note Sunday, December 15 is the final date for gift donations to ensure the gifts are distributed to children and families in time for Christmas.”

All children can visit Santa for FREE meet and greets in the mall on Sundays, 12noon-4pm from November 24 outside Asda.
