Film Screening at Newlands South Church

A special screening is taking place at Newlands South Church next Thursday.

A short film made by Callum Rice, will be shown depicting the memorable events of 2018 in Newlands South, including the challenges of developing the Doors Open Day project, the great success of the actual day plus the very moving Remembrance Day service on 11th November exactly 100 years after the armistice was signed.

Callum is an artist, photographer and film maker. He graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2013 and has since directed and produced a number of short films, the first of which won a Scottish BAFTA.

A couple of his other films will also be shown followed by a Q&A session and refreshments.

The event takes place at Newlands South Church on Thursday, September 5 at 7.30pm.
