Kathryn died 10 years ago at the age of 13 after contracting leukaemia and all money raised will be donated in her name to children’s cancer charity Clic Sargent.

Anyone attending at the practice in Eastwoodmains Road on the 24th will get free spinal and posture checks and advice on back problems.

There will also be goody bags featuring vouchers from nearby businesses Distinction Health and Beauty and The Look hair salon. There’s also free coffee at Michaelangelo’s restaurant.

Clarkston Chiropractic owner Derek Leitch said: “We’ll also have special offers, treats galore, biscuits and smashing chat. All this for a suggested donation of £5. If you can’t make the day you are welcome to drop in to donate beforehand.”

It’s all going on this month at Clarkston Chiropractic, who have been helping young and old with back, spine and other health issues for 10 years now.

Resident chiropractors Dr Kirsten McLeod and Dr Laura Sutherland have just been joined by a third team member, Dr Stephanie Daws. Stephanie passed her masters of chiropractic degree with a first at AECC University College in Bournemouth and is launching her career north of the border.
