Having just returned from a Girl Guide Roadshow in Stirling on Sunday, May 12, Jane, said: “The future is really exciting in Guiding, the programme is super and it really sets girls and young woman up for life.

“The Roadshow which will be coming to Glasgow in November 2019 would be a great introduction for someone wanting to volunteer in Guiding. It shows the range of roles within guiding as well as the depth of the programme itself.

“I run a Brownies Guide unit on a Thursday evening and I am currently running ‘Taster Thursdays’ for anyone interested in seeing how meetings are actually run. There are many flexible roles within Guiding to meet the time that people can give.”
