Mrs MacGlashan was previously the depute head at Eastwood High.

She said: “It has been a wonderful eight years at Eastwood High and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

“Eastwood is a terrific school and moving into the new building in 2013 was a definite highlight.

“But I’m really excited about joining Woodfarm. It’s a fantastic school and I am looking forward to continuing the great work that’s being carried out there.”
