Missing Newton Mearns man with dementia found safe and well
A vulnerable elderly man who had been missing from the Newton Mearns area since last night (Sunday) has been found safe and well.
William Barclay (79), who suffers from dementia, was reported missing by his worried family after he hadn’t been seen since 8pm on Sunday in Culzean Crescent.
Happily, Mr Barclay was traced safe and well today in Glasgow city centre.
Police thanked everyone for their assistance in tracing Mr Barclay.
