Marking a decade of Parkrun

Pollok Parkrun '“ the only one of its kind in the Southside '“ celebrated its 10th anniversary on Saturday.

Even the slight drizzle couldn’t dampen the parkrun spirits as more than 600 runners turned out for the event.

A rendition of Scotland the Brave by Eastwood High School pupil Harrison Bishop (12) on pipes, along with another piper and drummer, got the run underway.
