Ladies are at the ‘fore’front of fundraising
The Williamwood Golf Club Ladies Section presented a cheque to Kareen Rogers from the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice for £3,489.
The money was raised throughout the year by various fundraising means and the charity was nominated by lady vice captain Christina McKean.
A spokeswoman for the section said: “We were absolutely delighted to have raised such a huge sum.
“The hospice is a charity which is very close to a lot of people’s hearts and we are proud to support their good work.”
