Kind-hearted council staff donate to East Renfrewshire Foodbank

Staff at East Renfrewshire Council recently donated 233kg of food to the East Renfrewshire Foodbank.

A range of non-perishable tinned and dried foods were donated, and will be used to provide emergency food to those in crisis in the local community over the festive season.

The food was collected during recent employee workshops held by the Corporate and Community Services department. Staff were encouraged to donate as much as they could and help give back to those in the community who may not be as fortunate as themselves over the Christmas period.
