Kids learning to '˜Walk like an Egyptian'
P4 pupils from The Glasgow Academy Milngavie performed an Egyptian Assembly to parents, grandparents and friends recently. They sang songs about the Egyptians and answered questions from other pupils in the school. The pre-school pupils wanted to know the difference between mummies in Ancient Egypt and their own '˜mummy and daddy'.
Since the start of term, they have created sarcophagus, pyramids, cartouches and paintings of Tutankhamun.
