Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to trace following an incident in Govanhill involving two teenage girls.

Two teenage girls, both aged 16, were involved in an incident with a male who had approached them.

The man in the images was seen in the area of Allison Street where the incident took place around 11pm on Saturday, April 1 2017.

He is described as Eastern European, between 18 and 20 years old, 5ft 7, of slim build, and with dark brown hair which was cropped at the sides and longer on top.

At the time of incident, he was wearing a light coloured hooded top with a dark t-shirt underneath, dark jogging bottoms and white Nike football boots.

Detective Constable Lyn Stewart from Shettleston CID said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in the image to please come forward as we believe he may be able to help with our investigation.”
