POLICE are appealing for help as a southside woman has gone missing.
Diane Lann (47), of Pollokshields, was last seen by her daughter around 9pm on Battlefield Road, Cathcart, on Monday, April 2.
Police have carried out extensive inquiries in their search for Ms Lann, but without success.
Diane has a pale complexion and is around 5ft 4ins in height with a slim build.
She has short, brown hair and green eyes.
Diane has a heart-shaped tattoo and a scar on her left arm.
When she was last seen she was wearing a grey or blue-coloured long-length jacket and blue, baggy-style jeans with white footwear and a black baseball cap.
Police say it is unusual for Diane not to be in contact with her family.
Inspector Alan Bowater said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Diane, she normally stays in touch with her family but she has had no contact with them since she was last seen on Monday.
“She is generally in good health although she is currently being treated for depression at the moment and takes regular medication with her.
“As time goes on, concern is growing for her safety and wellbeing.
“I would ask anyone who has any information about Diane or her whereabouts to get in touch with us and assure her family that she is okay”.
If anyone has information concerning Diane, they should contact Cathcart police on 0141 532 4901.
