The Southside Film Festival team is having a laugh next month, teaming up with the Glasgow International Comedy Festival for a series of screenings.
Laughs will be echoing around Govanhill Baths on March 11 and 12, kicking off on the Friday night with Ben Stiller’s Zoolander.
The Marx Brothers’ anarchic Duck Soup and Howard Hawks’ His Girl Friday follow on Saturday afternoon, followed by an evening showing of Mel Brooks’ Blazing Saddles.
Karen O’Hare, director of Southside Film, said that the organisation is “excited to be back at Govanhill Baths for the Glasgow Comedy Festival, presenting a range of funny films that will make everyone laugh in this beautiful and unique southside community venue.”
Tickets are available in advance from seetickets.com, and on the door if not sold out.
