More than 100 people packed into Eastwood House last week to raise a glass and celebrate the 90th birthday of HM The Queen.
Friends of Lubavitch Scotland organised the event which was chaired by Dr Steven Kayne who gave snippets of information about the Queen and the royal family.
A toast and prayer to the queen was given by Dr Bernard Groden, while Lady Clarice Goldberg described her visit to Buckingham Palace when her late husband Professor Sir Abe Goldberg was knighted in 1983.
In attendance were Vice Lieutenant of Renfrewshire Mrs Susie Stewart, Provost of Eastwood Allistair Carmichael and immediate past president of the Glasgow Jewish Rep Council Paul Morron.
The Lubavitch Chessed Award and a silver kiddish cup-becher was presented to Paul in recognition of outstanding community leadership.
