Several thousand cars hurry through Eastwood Toll each day en route to Paisley, Kilmarnock, East Kilbride and Glasgow.
But most of the drivers will not have had the time to admire the beautiful church overlooking the busy roundabout.
Opened in March 1929, Giffnock South Parish Church was the work of Messrs Paterson and Stewart, architects.
The church continues to this day as a busy centre of worship for its congregation and its several halls act as a home for many community groups including Brownies, Guides and Boys’ Brigade, and also hosts a thriving Community Choir.
This coming Saturday and Sunday the church is participating in East Renfrewshire Open Doors event when visitors will be made most welcome to go along to view the beautiful interior including some stunning stained glass windows.
There will be guides to show you around as you enjoy this building at the heart of Giffnock.
Open Doors hours are Saturday, 10am-4pm, and Sunday, 2pm to 4pm.
