Final showdown for tennis four
FOUR pupils from St Joseph’s primary did East Renfrewshire proud when they represented the authority in the West of Scotland Schools County Tennis Final.
The final, which took place at Scotstoun Leisure Centre on September 21, saw eight schools participate.
St Joseph’s earned the right to represent East Ren after winning their own authority final, held by the council’s Active Schools team.
The East Ren group came a close second in the tournament, finishing just seven points behind winners Millersneuk primary school, from East Dunbartonshire.
