Friday September 20

OFFICIAL launch of the East Renfrewshire Foodbank. 12-1pm in St Andrew’s (formerly Arthurlie) church, Barrhead. Free event, buffet provided.

LADIES pamper night, courtesy of Williamwood high PTA. 7-11pm at the Clarkston school. Entry £3.

Saturday September 21

CHARITY day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support at Clarkston Chiropractic and Distinction Health and Beauty. 9am-4pm — suggested donation £3.

FOOD and drink as feastRen returns. Weekend event runs today and tomorrow at Rouken Glen Park. Tickets £5 from feastren.co.uk.

Sunday September 22

HEAD to the Scotland Street School Museum for The Corky Secret Film Club. Free family film screening from 11am.

Tuesday September 24

BUSBY Flower Club meets for the first time this season. 7.30pm at the Redhurst Hotel in Giffnock. All welcome — £5 for non members.

Wednesday September 25

SELF-HELP group Bipolar Scotland East Renfrewshire meets at Orchardhill parish church, Giffnock. Free event, running 6.30-8.30pm — all are welcome.
