WINE, nibbles and music will be on offer at Bluestone Gift Shop, Barrhead, for their Christmas shopping night. One night only offers available in store from 6pm-10pm.


SANTA will be at Scout Halls, Newlands. £1 entry for adults, kids go free, 10am-2pm with stalls, raffles and a wheel of fortune. Hosted by the 29th Glasgow Scouts.

FESTIVE fair at Langside Parish Church, Ledard Road. Running 12-3pm, expect stalls, a tea room and the opportunity to meet Santa. Free entry.

CRAFT stalls for kids, tombola, Santa and much more will be at St Cadoc’s Primary in Newton Mearns Christmas Fair. £2 per adult or £5 family entry, from 12pm – 3pm.

HOMEBAKING, gifts, raffle and more at St Aidan’s Christmas Coffee morning in Clarkston. In aid of CHAS and church funds, £2 entry will guarantee coffee, mince pies and shortbread between 10am and noon.


TABLETOP sale at the Scout Hall, Barrhead, from 12pm until 4pm. Free for shoppers. Organised by the 1st Barrhead Scout group.

CHRISTMAS lights switched on in Eaglesham Park. Free entry, mince pies and hot drinks will be on offer. Donations welcomed to fund Christmas food parcels for elderly village residents will be gratefully received.


PUB QUIZ at the Travellers Rest, Neilston at 7.30pm. Winners receive a £20 voucher to spend in the Travellers rest, and a prize for funnest team is also on offer.


BOOK WEEK Scotland hosts illustrator Nick Sharatt at Giffnock Library between 11am and 12pm. Pop along to see how Nick draws and creates his famous characters, free entry.
