St Luke's fly the flag for the environment
St Luke's High School in Barrhead has been awarded a Green Flag by the Foundation for Environmental Education.
The Green Flag is awarded to schools who meet a variety of goals aimed at securing a sustainable environment.
Paul Masterton, MP for East Renfrewshire, said: “Congratulations to school pupils and teachers alike for obtaining the Green Flag award. Decreasing our carbon footprint is vital if we are to continue to strive and indeed reach the goals we set ourselves back at COP21 in Paris.
“St Luke’s High School are showing the way for the rest of us.”
