Enquiries ongoing into serious assault on Pollokshaws Road

Detectives are continuing enquiries and have issued an image of a man they think may be able to assist them in an ongoing investigation.

Around 3.30 am on Sunday, August 12 2018, a 23-year-old man was assaulted on the Pollokshaws Road, near to Abbot Street.

The man was injured and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable John McClintock said: “We are interested in speaking to the man in the image as he could hold vital information which could assist us in our enquiries. If anyone recognises the man, I would ask them to contact us.

“I am also appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, who has still to speak to police, to get in touch.”
