Crowella is top dog in Douglas scarecrow competition
THE winners of Douglas Flower Show’s fourth annual scarecrow competition had 101 reasons to celebrate.
For the top entry by Tom Kirkland and Robert Barclay – Crowella de Ville – was based on the hit 1961 Walt Disney movie 101 Dalmations, featuring battleaxe villain Cruella de Vil.
“There was a really high standard of entry into this year’s competition,” said Douglas Flower Show secretary Joan Gold.
