An investigation is currently under way after a 37-year-old woman was raped in a popular southside park.
Police said the woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in Queen’s Park on March 30.
The park has been cordoned off and closed to the public in order to allow investigations to take place.
Police have appealed for anyone who was in the park at about 11pm on March 30 and who saw anyone acting suspiciously to get in touch.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A police investigation is continuing in relation to a 37-year-old-woman who was seriously sexually assaulted on the evening of Wednesday 30 March 2016, in Queens Park, Glasgow.
“Inquiries are at an early stage to establish more details on this incident.
“At this time, we would ask anyone who was in the park late on Wednesday, March 30 from 11pm, and witnessed the assault or anyone acting suspiciously to contact London Road Police Office on 101.”
