Woman rushed to hospital after reports of serious assault in south side property
A 31-year-old woman has been rushed to hospital after reports of an alleged serious assault in a property in the south side of Glasgow.
Eye witnesses reported seeing police and ambulance service personnel rushing to Newlands Road earlier today (Sunday, September 16).
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around midday today police were called to reports of a 31-year-old woman having been seriously assaulted within a property on Newlands Road in Glasgow.

Hide Ad“Emergency services attended and the 31-year-old woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“A 58-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
