Police are seeking the assistance of the public and the media in an effort to trace a 39 year old man missing from Dalmuir since Saturday, July 16.

William McKenna, also known as William Little was last seen near his home in Durban Avenue around 5pm that day.

He he is described as white, around 5 ft. 10 inches, with a medium build and short brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a light coloured top, grey jacket and dark coloured track suit trousers. He has tattoos on his arms.

William owns a Staffordshire terrier cross breed dog, however his dog has been found by police at his home. It is very unusual for him to leave his dog unsupervised and his family has grown increasingly concerned for his safety.

Extensive enquiries have been undertaken by police, however attempts to locate him have so far proved unsuccessful.

Inspector David Quinn said: “We know that William socialises in the Dalmuir area and is often seen walking his dog. His family is extremely concerned and just want to know he is safe and well. I am appealing to anyone who may have seen William or who may have any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to call officers at Clydebank Police Office on 101.”
