Man suffers serious head injury after reports of fight in Govanhill street
A man is due to appear in court tomorrow (Monday, August 5) after an alleged fight in Govanhill left another man with head injuries.
Police were called to Inglefield Street in Govanhill on Friday night, around 9.45pm, after receiving reports of a disturbance involving a number of men.
A 36-year-old man was found to have suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police said enquires were continuing and a 36-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident, and was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday August 5.
