Handbag thefts in south side of Glasgow: Images issued by police

Police have issued images of a man and a woman they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries into a number of thefts of handbags at Morrisons supermarkets in the south side of Glasgow.

Officers from Greater Glasgow Division are looking to trace these people.

The incidents have involved customers having their property stolen while shopping within the supermarkets.

The first incident took place around 5.30pm on Friday, December 7, 2018 within Morrisons supermarket, Crossmyloof on Titwood Road.

The second around noon on Saturday, December 8, 2018 within Morrisons supermarket, Fenwick Road, Giffnock.

The third took place around 1.25pm on Saturday, December 8 2018, again within Morrisons supermarket, Crossmyloof on Titwood Road.

Anyone who recognises these individuals, or who has information that may assist the police investigation should contact Giffnock Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 2041 of 8th December 2018.
