Appeal to help trace former prisoner

Police Scotland is appealing for information regarding the current whereabouts or movements of Alexander Muir (29) who breached the terms of his licence after being released from HMP Low Moss.

Officers have been trying to Alexander since he was last seen in July 2018 and have and have been carrying out extensive enquiries in the areas he is known to frequent including Glasgow, Renfrewshire and Ayrshire.

He is described as white, 5ft 10 in height and of slim build with red hair.

Sgt McMillan from Paisley Police Office said: “We are currently looking to trace Alexander Muir, who has breached his licence conditions since being released from HMP Low Moss, and are appealing to anyone who has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward and contact us.
