Appeal following robbery on Cross Arthurlie Street in Barrhead

Police in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a shop on Cross Arthurlie Street, Barrhead.

A 25-year-old man was working within the Premier Store at around 9.25am on Sunday, January 3 2021, when two men threatened him with a knife and stole some items.

Both suspects are described as being white, in their early 30s, approximately 5’10 in height.

One was wearing a blue jacket with white zip, black under armour trousers and grey Air max trainers.

The second was wearing a blue jumper with black hood, black adidas jogging bottoms with white stripes down both legs and black Nike trainers.

Constable Kirstie Black from Police Scotland said: “This has been a terrifying ordeal for the man involved. We are keen to hear from anyone who has any information or any dash cam footage from the area at the time, to contact us via 101 quoting incident number 1007 of 3 January 2021, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
