CLARKSTON beauty therapist Joanne Warwick is swapping make up for war paint for Tough Mudder — a 12-mile, SAS-designed obstacle course.

Calla Beauty owner Joanne (33), is raising money for the Ayrshire Hospice, in memory of the mums of two close friends. She said: “I never leave the house without my make up done — but I’ll gladly swap them for mud and sweat for the day to raise money for such a good cause.”

Joanne — also a beauty therapy lecturer — has been training six days a week and will complete the course alongside friend Nisha Purewal.

The two take on the challenge in Dalkeith on Sunday (August 25) - to find out more or to donate money, visit
