Glasgow South PANDAS is a relatively new group supporting mums suffering from Post Natal Depression and their families, giving them the opportunity to meet and speak with others in the same situation in the local community of East Renfrewshire.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said “We at The Avenue understand the lack of resources available in various sectors and we were saddened to learn the high volumes of new mothers who suffer from Post Natal Depression.

“As an integral part of our community, we want to support local families and this new group is such a worthwhile cause to get people talking and to remove the stigma surrounding mental health, including Post Natal Depression.”

Lauren Tonner, founder of Glasgow South PANDAS, said: “Thank you to The Avenue for awarding Glasgow South PANDAS with their £250 Community Fund this quarter. This will really benefit our group by raising awareness and provide more funds for training and resources.”
